Bar Sales Person

We are looking for a Bar Sales Person to join our team!

To Ensure the overall smooth and effective operation of the kitchen with a strong customer service orientation. Will liaise with the Bar Manager and higher management to discuss issues, which will facilitate the smooth running of the kitchen and overall business, and to perform the following tasks on a day-to-day basis.

The role is diverse and is not limited to:

• Receiving Deliveries. • Dispatching or Delivering Orders. • Managing the Outgoing stock via Inventory Control. • Help/Assist in Building Monthly and Weekly Food Promo plans. • Follow the budge established by management. • Ensure safety and sanitation practices in the kitchen. • Manage Kitchen staff and delegate tasks if or when required. • Cooking Food in a safe and timely manner with best hygiene standards. • Ensuring appealing plate presentation. • Ensure Kitchen is well maintained, cleaned and sanitized on regular basis • Will be responsible for following the food control plan and undertaking all daily, weekly and monthly requirements as outline in it. • Periodically organize and participate in stock takes.

• Must have LCQ and Duty Manager license • Must be able to pass a police check and drug test. • Check freshness of food and discard out of date items and ensure FIFO methods to limit wastage • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulation with in the kitchen area. Ensure staff is strictly prohibited to drink on work premises while on Duty. • Ensuring continued compliance with applicable liquor & food laws of NZ. • Attend off- sale food training/conferences and analyzing retail/Bar trends and profitability indicators.
