Local health provider are looking to employ a Cancer Care Co-ordination Kaiawhina to work within the Invercargill team.
If supporting whanau to navigate health pathways is important to you and play a key role in their journey this could be the opportunity for you! The Cancer Care Coordination Kaiawhina will work across the cancer continuum and provide support to whanau to access and engage with services. You may be transporting whanau, picking up medication, supporting at a clinical appointments, buying groceries, or linking in with Hospice – no two days will be the same, but your aroha and advocacy will always be evident.

Job Requirements
- This role would suit candidates who have experience in the health sector or in a community support role - Relationship building and excellent communication skills are essential as you will be providing emotional, as well as practical support to whanau - You must be comfortable with Te Ao Maori and confident advocating for cancer patients and their whanau - You must have a clean, full driver’s license - Must have the ability to pass Pre-employment drug, medical and police checks as required
