Retail Supervisor

Seeking a Retail Supervisor for a local Supermarket in Papatoetoe. Duties will include to ensure appropriate stock control, stock taking processes and procedures are in place. Assist Manager in ensuring sales and GP targets for the department are met or exceeded and that wage costs are controlled appropriately. Monitor sales and create opportunities to increase on last year. Support the control of all department costs and manage credits and out of stocks. Ensure all appropriate signage is displayed correctly and that advertised product is displayed meaningfully. Handle Customer enquiries and complaints appropriately and ensure effective interactions with customers at all times. Manage the appropriate department staff effectively through adherence to appropriate in-store policies and procedures and by setting a personal example of expected store behaviours Maintain Health and Safety compliance in the department. Either level 3 qualification in any field, or 1 year of relevant experience, preferably with supervisory skills Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Problem solving and excellent time management A passion for retail and ability to motivate a team Able to pass a medical as required Able to pass a MOJ check Able to pass drug test
