Employer currently seeking a part time Support Worker in the Omapere, Kaikohe area. You will be part of a team who will provide a safe environment where people can develop confidence and new skills, build friendships with peers, and interact with others in the community. You will support people in their home and community to lead fulfilling and meaningful lives to achieve their personal dreams and goals by doing the things they want to do such as going swimming, attending sporting events, arts and crafts, movies, or shopping - the list is endless! Who are we looking for? • People who are passionate about helping others, are kind and understanding. • Prior experience is not essential as full training is provided. • Full driver's license and owning your own vehicle is essential. • Pass all police vetting checks • A desire to support people to learn new skills and achieve outcomes. • Somebody who has the initiative to push people for their goals, is energetic, outgoing, and can think outside the box. Job Requirements
Full or restricted driver licence and own transport Must pass police vetting checks passionate about helping others, are kind and understanding.
