Fabricator Welder
About this job
The ideal candidate will have the following skills, attributes and experience: Excellent proven fitting and welding skills with understanding of different welding processes and equipment; Can manufacture/ repair metal items be utilizing different welding systems; Be able to weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions; Have knowledge of materials and tools required for the task; Be able to weld on heights and at different locations across Auckland; Have MIG, TIG and ARC experience and the skills to cut stainless and steel; Be able to tack-weld or weld components and assemblies, using electric, gas, arc, or other welding equipment; Be able to cut, thread bend and install steel beams; Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover any flaws.Have great attention to detail and finishing. Job Requirements
Must have experience in welding and fitting and be able to provide 1 or 2 work related references. You will be punctual, reliable, problem solver and work well autonomously in an unsupervised environment. Additionally, you can work overtime when required.
