Restaurant in Whangarei CBD are looking for Cooks experienced in Indian Cuisine to join their team immediately.
Duties and Responsibilities include: •Preparation of Tandoori and Indian dishes and curries. •Maintain cleaning checklists and high levels of cleanliness at all times. •Ensuring kitchen equipment’s are in proper working condition. •Keep the kitchen clean and tidy. •Train other kitchen staff whenever required. •Ordering stock and checking goods on arrival •Conduct regular stock checks/stock-takes •Ensuring the quality of food before it leaves the kitchen •Assisting with menu planning.
Other duties may be assigned from time to time also.
Job Requirements
Must have a cooking qualification and/or minimum 2/3 years of experience preparing Tandoori and North Indian dishes and have flexibility to work which includes weekends and on public holidays.

- 5-6 days per week, Monday to Sunday, rostered shifts. (32 hours per week)
