Community Support Worker

We are seeking both Level 3 and Level 4 support workers to join our growing team in Canterbury. Your responsibilities will vary depending on the needs of the individuals you support. These may include: -Personal care tasks such as assisting with showering, dressing, eating, and toileting. -Household tasks like cleaning, cooking, and shopping. -Supporting clients to maintain their independence and develop new skills. -Providing specialized care, including medication administration, catheter and stoma care, and PEG feeding (for Level 4 roles).
To be considered for these positions, you will need to meet the following criteria:
For Level 3 roles: Minimum Level 3 NZQF qualification with at least 1 year of relevant experience
For Level 4 roles: Minimum Level 4 NZQF qualification with at least 3 years of relevant experience
For both Level 3 & 4 roles: -Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. -A full driver’s license and reliable vehicle (work mileage is reimbursed). -No criminal convictions. -A reasonable level of fitness. -Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test, with ongoing random testing. -A commitment to being honest, hardworking, and well-presented.
