Class 2 or 4 Truck Driver

An urgent opportunity is available for an exceptional Delivery Driver to join a busy transport team based in Hamilton. This is a key role, requiring a high level of dedication to providing outstanding customer service on every delivery. As the face of the company, the Delivery Driver will interact directly with customers and ensure their experience is positive, going beyond the typical "drop and run" delivery approach.

This is a temporary position through to Christmas, with the potential for extension based on performance.

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Class 2 or Class 4 Delivery Driver is absolutely essential. • A valid counterbalance forklift certificate is essential as you will be loading and unloading your own truck. • A clear criminal record and clean driver’s license. • Excellent knowledge of Hamilton and the wider Waikato region. • Physically fit, as the role involves using a trolley for hand loading and unloading. • A courteous, polite, and professional manner when dealing with customers. • Strong time management skills to effectively manage your daily deliveries. • MUST be reliable and punctual—turn up on time every day. • A strong focus on Health and Safety best practices. • Good communication skills and the ability to interact with a range of people. • Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test.
