We are seeking a motivated and reliable Civil Construction Worker who has the ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints. As part of our construction team, you will assist in the execution of civil works, ensuring that projects are completed on time, to specification, and in accordance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities: • Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications to understand project requirements. • Perform general construction tasks such as digging, lifting, site preparation, concrete pouring, formwork, and other duties as required. • Assist with site layout and material handling. • Ensure all work is completed to high-quality standards and according to project plans and specifications. • Operate and maintain construction equipment (e.g., excavators, skid steers, etc.) as required. • Follow all safety procedures and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations. • Work collaboratively with project managers, engineers, and other construction team members. • Report any issues or discrepancies on-site to supervisors for resolution.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the following key requirements:

• Proven experience as a Civil Construction Worker or in a similar role. • Strong ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings. • Knowledge of construction methods, tools, and equipment. • Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. • Good communication and teamwork skills. • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes. • Current construction safety certification (e.g., White Card) or the ability to obtain one prior to employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in roadworks, drainage, or earthworks projects is a plus. • Previous experience with surveying or setting out sites is desirable. • Current driver's license and own transportation is preferred.
