About Us: We are a bustling, high-end bistro serving delicious and innovative meals since 2015. Located above Downstairs, our wine-focused ‘pub,’ we pride ourselves on excellent service, great food, and quality drinks, including a fantastic wine list and craft beers. We’ve built strong relationships with local vineyards and suppliers, and excellent service is at the heart of everything we do.

Are We Looking for You? We're on the hunt for a Restaurant Manager (or even a General Manager for the right candidate). This rare opportunity comes up only occasionally, as we've been operating successfully for 9 years. You’ll be the face of the team—leading from the front, looking after both staff and customers, and ensuring smooth service every night. You’ll need strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and empathy to create a positive work environment.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience: Solid knowledge of spirits, wine, and the hospitality industry is essential. You should have strong relationships with suppliers and ideally have worked with local vineyards. Leadership: You must be someone who leads by example—handling everything from tables to staff needs with kindness, hustle, and empathy. Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, budget management, and experience with rostering. A valid DM Cert and experience with Posbiz & Loaded are a bonus. Service Focus: Service is our priority, so you must have a passion for delivering a top-notch experience. Flexibility: The role is part-time, with 35-42 hours a week, and includes a mix of evenings and occasional lunch functions. Start date is flexible, ideally by November.
