Class 5 driver

We are seeking an experienced Class 5 Truck Driver with civil construction experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in operating a truck and trailer combination, with the ability to safely maneuver and jack-knife in various conditions. This position is critical to our daily operations, and we need someone who is reliable, skilled, and ready to contribute to the success of the team.

Key Responsibilities: Operate a Class 5 truck and trailer for various civil construction projects. Safely maneuver truck and trailer, including jack-knifing, in tight or challenging conditions. Transport materials and equipment to and from job sites. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies at all times. Ensure the vehicle is maintained in good working condition, including performing basic checks and reporting any issues. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to ensure efficient delivery and pickup. Pass regular drug and alcohol tests as part of our commitment to safety.

Qualifications: Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driving record. Previous civil construction experience is a MUST, particularly with truck and trailer operation. Ability to jack-knife a truck and trailer safely. Strong understanding of safety protocols and best practices. Able to pass a drug and alcohol test and also MOJ check Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Physical ability to handle the demands of the job, including lifting and moving materials as needed. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
