Plumbers Assistant

Plumbers Assistant required. Duties will include helping plumber's to set up the job sites and prepare the layouts; Assisting with installing and maintaining waste disposal underground sanitary drainage and water supply system; Assisting with measure cut thread and bend pipe valves and fittings to required specification; Cleaning and carrying out minor repairs on pipe drains, canals and checking for cracks and leaks in water supply and sewerage systems; Ensure all installations repairs and maintenance are properly sized aligned supported and grade as required by the plumber; Using equipment machinery and tools in a responsible and safe manner; clean work area, maintain work tools and machines daily after the work is done.

Ability to perform physically demanding tasks on a construction site. At least one year of relevant experience in a similar role. Ability to follow safety procedures and guidelines. Police vetting and drug tests are required Available to start work in the morning or on weekends, depending on the work arrangement.
