Multiple Supermarket Roles

We are looking for a Night Cleaner/Laundry Assistant, Checkout Operator, Bakery Supermarket Assistant, Grocery Supermarket Assistant and Online Supervisor to join us in Paraparaumu!

Night Cleaner/Laundry Assistant: • Operating heavy machinery • Keeping public and staff amenities clean and sanitary • Being on call to clean any spillages in the store. • Sweeping and mopping inside the store • Any other tasks that are part of the cleaning team This position requires a 3am start & days of work will be discussed at the time of interview.

Checkout Operator: • Provide exceptional customer service at the checkouts • Accurately scan products and pack into customer trolleys • Accurately complete point of sales transactions whether cash or eftpos based • Assisting with other tasks as directed by the Checkout Manager • Assisting across other areas of the store as required The checkout team operates during our opening hours of 7am to 10pm and therefore shifts are considered to be either early, mid or late.

Supermarket Assistant (Bakery): • Decorating and finishing baked goods - think icing, creaming, coating etc • Packaging and displaying products in the bakery area of our store • Assisting with other bakery tasks as directed by the Bakery Manager • Assisting across other areas of the store as required This is a part-time permanent role, with the scope to add more days in the future. Currently the need is Friday and Saturday 5:00am to 1:30pm.

Supermarket Assistant (Grocery) • Moving product from our storeroom into the shop (varies across ambient, chilled & frozen areas) • Accurately displaying product, ensuring that shelves are full and faced up accordingly • Working to the FIFO method to ensure compliance with food safety standards and best practice guidelines • Assisting customers with their queries during operating hours • Maintaining the safety and well-being of yourself, the team and our customers at all times • Assisting across other areas of the store as required We have both part-time and full-time positions available,

Online Supervisor • Provide exceptional customer service to our online customers • Accurately pick, scan and pack products into customer orders • Assist the Online Manager with responding to customer queries or credits • Ensure all daily tasks are completed and work allocated in the absence of the Online Manager • Assisting with other tasks as directed by the Online Manager Assisting across other areas of the store as required • Sun-Mon 5:00am-2:30pm & Tues-Thurs 7:00am-3:30pm (42 Hours).

Checkout Operator: • Be a reliable person with great time management • Have a passion for providing an exceptional customer experience • Be detail focused and have good mathematic skills • Be physically fit - the role can be both busy and physically demanding (both volume and weight in products as well as the need to pack products which keeps you moving) • Follow health and safety policy, food safety policy and compliance procedures in the store. • Previous cash-handling or checkout experience is desirable

Supermarket Assistant (Bakery): • Be a reliable person with great time management • Have a passion for baking and a desire to learn new skills • Be detail focused and have an eye for presentation • Be physically fit, this role works in a commercial kitchen and requires you to be on your feet • Follow health and safety policy, food safety policy and compliance procedures in the store.

Supermarket Assistant (Grocery): • Be a reliable person with great time management • Be detail focussed and have an eye for presentation • Be physically fit - this role requires you to be on your feet, climbing up and down ladders, and repeatedly moving products that can weigh up to 20kg • Follow health and safety policy, food safety policy and compliance procedures in the store.

Online Supervisor • Be a reliable person with great time management • Have a passion for providing an exceptional customer experience • Be detail focussed and have good mathematic skills • Be physically fit - the role can be both busy and physically demanding • Follow health and safety policy, food safety policy and compliance procedures in the store • Have previous leadership experience, employing a positive pro-active approach to your interactions • Previous online experience is desirable
