Corrections Officer
About this job
Corrections Officers are there with people in prison throughout their daily activities, providing ongoing opportunities to influence change and motivate positive decisions.
They supervise people's routines, help them to navigate prison life, escort them to hearings and appointments, and support them to engage in rehabilitation programmes.
Job Requirements
Successful candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and a MOJ check. Be able and prepared to complete a pre-employment medical and physical fitness test. You will have strong communication skills, be a team player and can motivate others and work well under pressure. Hold a current First Aid Certificate. Hold a current, full driver licence and can drive a manual vehicle. Have 2 contactable referees.
