Experienced Fish & Chip Cook

A Stoke fish and chip shop is looking for an experienced cook to join their new team. You will be responsible for planning menus, including daily specials, and preparing quality takeaways, including gluten-free takeaways, for customers. Duties include managing and training kitchen staff, monitoring stock and ordering supplies as required, and complying with all food hygiene and safety requirements. The successful candidate will be able demonstrate creativity and a passion for excellence in all that they do.
Job Requirements
• Proven work experience as a Cook (minimum 3 years) • Hands-on experience with various kitchen equipment (eg. grillers and fryers) • Leadership skills • Ability to remain calm and undertake various tasks • Excellent time management abilities • Knowledge of food hygiene regulations
- Days of work
- Tuesday to Sunday (closed Mondays): 11.30am-2.30pm and 3.30pm-8.30pm Hours may increase over time. (30 hours per week)
