About this job
Principal activities/responsibilities Ensure all processing operations are carried out as requested and in a manner that maintains the quality and integrity of wine. Be involved in all winery operations from fruit receival during harvest, to preparing finished wine for dispatch. Ensure all cellar operations are carried out in accordance with workplace instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and that situations resulting in wine loss due to poor workplace practice are prevented. Carry out all cellar operations in a safe manner following company health and safety guidelines as detailed in the company Health and Safety Manual. Ensure all cellar operations are performed in a time efficient manner using housekeeping practices according to company standards and expectations. Meet company expectations and policies in relation to standards of punctuality, attendance, respect and teamwork.
