Central New Plymouth Hotel are looking for a couple Food and Beverage Attendants to join their team.
About the Role: Duties will include, order taking from guests, making and serving barista coffees, serving food, a la carte and buffet style, pouring and serving beverages including wine, beer and spirits etc, general cleaning and clearing of dishes/ glasses from tables in the restaurant and at our events, set-up of the restaurant for breakfast and dinner (depending on your shift).
They have a fulltime (30+ hours per week) and part time (15-20 hours per week) vacancies available. When applying please indicate your preference. You will be placed on a roster that will include weekends, public holidays and evenings. The pay rate is $26.52 - $27.92 per hour dependent on experience.
The ideal candidate will have: • Hospitality experience • Customer Service Skills • Passion for delivering excellent service • Barista and cocktail knowledge will be advantageous • Cash Handling Skills • Experience taking orders

Job Requirements
• Food and Beverage Attendant experience will be beneficial • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and smile at the same time • Ability to work in a team environment • Clean, professional clothing and stellar grooming habits • Barista coffee knowledge and skills will be beneficial • Experience in buffet and A la Carte service • Beverage knowledge (including wines, beers, spirits and cocktails) will be beneficial • An LCQ certificate will be advantageous • Friendly, energetic and hard-working attitude and outstanding customer service skills

- Rostered between Monday to Sunday, morning and evenings (morning shifts as early as 04:45 am) 15-20 hours per week (20 hours per week)
