Water Blaster Operator

A central Whangarei business are currently looking for an experienced water blaster operator to join the team. In this role you will be using commercial-power water blasters to clean houses, driveways, buildings, fences etc. Some jobs require a team, others you will be working alone. As some customer contact is required (with instructions coming from customers as to exactly what they want), a good manner is required. The day starts by collecting the van and trailer at the depot then heading out to the site. Taking the van home overnight may be available based on discussion and safe secure storage of them.

While the role is Casual, there is an expectation of around 30hours work per week available, maybe more and weekend work also can be on offer. Any Heights type certifications would be an advantage.

1- Previous Commercial water blasting experience is required- home use does not count. 2- This experience should be noted on your CV. 3- A Full Class 1 drivers license is required to drive the business van with trailer for with for insurance. There must be no conditions on the licence e.g. Alcohol Interlock 4- Physically fit due to the work type- the commercial machines are powerful. 5- Any criminal convictions are to be disclosed and will be considered case by case. 6- Be drug-free in order to pass random testing.
