Traffic Controllers are wanted in New Plymouth. Your role will be to undertake all Traffic Controller duties in a safe and timely manner to meet all the tasks and targets set for the team.
ABOUT THE ROLE: Traffic Controllers direct and manage the flow of vehicles and pedestrians around temporary work sites. Your role will include, the distribution of cones and other temporary markers and signs, communicating with other members of the team on a two-way radio, and directing pedestrians and drivers. You will also assist other team members and other crews when required. Full training will be available on the job
ABOUT YOU: To apply you must have a full class 1 licence (or on restricted and ready to obtain your full licence), have a good attitude and be based in New Plymouth. You must also be: • Keen and willing to learn • Able to problem solve • Team player • Motivated to do a good job • Able to communicate with others
