Duties typically include cutting, trimming, and packaging meat, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintaining cleanliness in the work area. They may operate machinery, monitor product quality, and assist with inventory management. Attention to detail and adherence to food safety standards are essential in this role to ensure the safety and quality of meat products for consumers.
Job Requirements
A good work ethic and commitment Physically fit and able to lift / stand for long long periods of time Able to work in a fast paced environment and handle pressure Able to work well within a team Must be able to pass a drug test as pre-employment test will be completed, as well as a medical check Must consent to a Ministry of Justice check
