About this job

Seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to work as a Fitter and turner, need to be competent in working on medium and large lathes and working to fine tolerances. This position is not in manufacturing of parts but the repair and reconditioning of existing parts. Experience preferred and is physically demanding, the employer is looking for an ideal candidate that is able to work independently, be punctual and also keep up physically with the workload. Duties involve but limited to polishing metal and assisting in electroplating. Can get quite grubby due to the work and equipment you work with, able to follow instructions and have an eye for detail then this maybe the role for you. The employer operates in a smoke and drug free environment.

Job Requirements

No convictions, be drug free. A driver licence and F endorsement are an advantage. Must have basic engineering and lathe skills
