Indian restaurant in Northcote is looking for a Cook to joint its team. In this role you will be: • Ensuring the smooth running of the kitchen • Preparing raw materials, seasoning, and heating food • Checking food quality before and after cooking • Cooking authentic Indian curries • Storing and labelling food in fridges • Using temperature-controlled equipment • Collaborating with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation efficiently • Ensuring great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served • Ensuring kitchen cleanliness and compliance with all food safety and sanitation standards
Job Requirements
To be considered for this role you, you will have a minimum of one year experience as an Indian Cook and the ability to work independently without supervision. You will also have a can-do attitude and the ability to cope during busy peak hours. Must be prepared to work late nights, weekends, and public holidays, and be committed to comply with the Restaurant's Health and Safety guidelines.

- Shifts across Monday-Sunday between 11am and 12am (30 hours per week)
