Fisheries Deckhand

Sailing from Totara North , full time positions have become available for the position of Fisheries Deckhand on a medium sized surface long line vessel for 6 days trip duration - with 2 days shore leave . Normal duties include handling and unloading of the catch , cleaning duties for a long line vessel . If you have the NZ Deckhand qualification or equivalent that would be an advantage, or six months experience on a fishing vessel as a deckhand . The work place and living areas are confined situations . The company operates on a strictly no violence , no abusive or aggressive behaviour basis . Remuneration will be based on experience and qualifications .
