Recognise and respond to signs of vulnerability and abuse. Provide person-centred care to maximise independence under the direction and delegation of a health professional. Perform entry-level person-centred tasks and functions in a health or wellbeing setting. To comply with the relevant policies related to punctuality, correct maintenance of time records, sick call procedure, professional appearance and conduct, smoking policy and all House Rules. To safely, efficiently and effectively deliver care by prioritising attendance to Resident's needs and delivering the best care possible according to duty schedules, and the Nursing Procedure Manual. Ensure that all routine cares are delivered as per resident’s care plans including, showering, dressing, mobilising, grooming, nutritional assistance. As required the HCA might have to do Laundry, and perform cleaning and kitchen duties in a helpful manner and maintaining good infection control principles.
