Kiwifruit orchard worker

Keen for outdoor work? Summer kiwifruit orchard workers are required on a temporary / casual basis in the wider Te Puke area. Duties include bud thinning, fruit thinning and summer pruning. You will be on your feet and working above head and shoulders height for long periods of time. This work is weather dependent with up to 5 to 6 days of work per week available. Closed footwear must be worn on orchard – gumboots and sneakers are suitable. Training is provided. You will be required to have secured accommodation within travelling distance of this work and reliable transport to get yourself to and from work prior to applying. Job Requirements
Physically fit to be on feet for long periods and work above head and shoulder height. Restricted drivers licence minimum and own transport. Need to provide own tools when required - tools are not required for the first few weeks. Minor convictions considered.
