Heavy Truck Driver Class 4-5

Seeking Class 4 and 5 heavy truck driver to transport runs as per the business requirement. The base is in Auckland and runs will be to Northland and back to Auckland. Duties includes: Check the condition of the load and that it is secure • Follow correct safety procedures • Keep records of, and check invoices for goods they carry. • Plan the best delivery route • Make deliveries or pick up goods • Unloading of heavy goods from the truck. Document and log work/rest periods and kilometres spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts • Find ways to conserve resources, including fuel, to benefit the business • Observe and report equipment or mechanical failures immediately • Report any accidents or vehicle issues encountered. • Maintain vehicle equipment; clean windows, windshields, and mirrors as needed; keep the interior of the vehicle clean of debris and clutter. Note that you must be able to start at 5am and be available to work weekends.

Valid Class 4 and 5 truck driver licence Must have a clean driving record Valid Dangerous Good Licence Valid forklift and F-endorsement licence (we can renew if expired) Able to pass a MOJ check Able to pass a medical check Able to pass a drug test Excellent customer service and getting along with others Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivery high quality work.
