Experienced Cellar Hand
About this job
1. General cellar operations (Forklifting, transfers, Flotation, RDV Filtration, additions, topping, barrel stirring, warming, degassing, cellar hygiene, cider making and monitoring, general maintenance, and daily monitoring of the wastewater system. 2. Harvest duties, (Grape receival, inoculations, barrel work, racking, Floatation, pump overs, tank additions, transfers, ferment monitoring), and all other vintage duties. 3. Occasional lab analysis, (SO2, pH, TA, RS) 4. Winery machinery operations and running maintenance (supervision of) 5. When required work on the bottling line 6. Record keeping. Keep up-to-date and accurate records of all procedures 7. Quality control 8. Waste water management 9. Other duties as reasonably requested by Winemakers
Job Requirements
You must be willing to work long shifts and on a roster that will be over the weekend.
