The iconic Red Fox Tavern located in Maramarua NZ has had a brand-new kitchen built and are looking for a Cook. The local tavern has lively atmosphere, serving a classic menu of hearty pub food, taking pride in offering a welcoming experience to customers.
Key Responsibilities: • Prepare and cook a variety of pub-style meals, including starters, mains, and desserts. • Maintain kitchen cleanliness, organization, and follow all health and safety regulations. • Manage food inventory, ensuring stock levels are adequate and food waste is minimized. • Work efficiently under pressure during busy service times. • Assist with front-of-house service and table clearing.

Job Requirements
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices with previous experience working in a kitchen environment preferred.
Hours of Work Rostered shifts Wednesday to Sunday, these days are subject to change where required to cover alternative shifts Monday and Tuesdays from time to time. Shifts will be during typical opening hours, 10.00am - 10.00pm
