Large Refuse and Recycling company are offering a cadetship programme which has been designed to give opportunities for a motivated individual, who is looking for on-job training and a long-term career, in a company where they can grow professionally.

The cadetship programme spans approximately two years and combines hands-on experience, where you will rotate through various departments of the business, gaining a holistic understanding of the waste management industry. Key areas of focus include waste collection, recycling operations, landfill management, transportation, sales, and customer service, as well as environmental compliance, and sustainability initiatives.

The programme is designed to cultivate the next generation of leaders in the waste management industry and will be an extraordinary opportunity for someone who is eager to learn, grow and be mentored by senior industry professionals.

Job Requirements

What we are looking for: • A genuine interest in developing a career in the waste management industry. • Ideally have a few years of working under their belts. • Enthusiastic with a ‘can do’ attitudes. Not afraid to get their hands dirty! • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. • Communication skills that lead to efficient and effective teamwork • Excellent problem-solving abilities • A full license Police vetting required. Convictions will be considered on a case by case basis. Pre-employment drug test and random tests required A good demeanour when interacting with others.

Days of work
5 days per week. M-F Hours fall between 7am to 5pm (40 hours per week)
