Intern - Client Service Delivery

A full-time, fixed-term role with Ministry of Social Development for Interns/Juniors in Rotorua is available from 18 November 2024-17 February 2025. This role offers young persons great opportunities to develop real-world experience and key skills in Case Management/Social Services, enhance growth toward independence and enhance career options by working alongside experts to make a real difference. You will not be alone as you work alongside experienced Case Management and Work Broker teams to add fresh perspective to a variety of tasks aimed at improving both social and employment outcomes for clients. This role will see you supporting students and school leavers in obtaining correct financial assistance and understanding of their obligations. Other duties will include the maintenance of client records, Job Seeker Profiles, up-to-date CVs to ensure they are work ready. You will be a crucial focus point in demonstrating how to use MyMSD, online job search techniques and tools. Further to this, you will document employment related conversations and maintain client records. The opportunity will be given to shadow other service delivery teams and enhance your understanding of the services MSD provide.
