A local artisan cheese retail store is seeking a friendly and reliable part time Retail Assistant to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
*Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a welcoming and friendly atmosphere in-store. *Assist customers with product selections and answer any questions about Cranky Pantry's offerings. *Operate the point-of-sale system efficiently, handling transactions, refunds, and exchanges. *Restock shelves and maintain clean, organized displays. *Assist with opening and closing duties, ensuring the store is ready for customers each day. *Support with inventory management and stock control. *Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth daily operations. *Adhere to health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers.
Job Requirements
*Must be available to work weekends. *Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred but not essential. *Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. *Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. *A positive attitude and team player mentality. *Enthusiastic about artisan foods and supporting local producers.
