A fine dining restaurant based in East Auckland offering delicious Nepalese, Indian and IndoChinese cuisine are looking to hire Chefs offering indoor and outdoor catering as per customer requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities: Preparing and cooking dishes according to the restaurant standard in the timely manner Maintaining Hygiene Standard Lead kitchen team in head chef absences Provide guidance to junior kitchen staff members, including, but not limited to line cooking, food preparation, and dish plating. Oversees and organizes kitchen stock and ingredients Ensures a first-in, first-out food rotation system and verifies all food products are properly dated and organized for quality assurance Keep cooking station stoked, especially before and during prime operation hours Work with head chef to maintain kitchen organization. Verify that food storage units all meet standards and are consistently well-managed Maintain order and discipline in the kitchen during working hours. Follow the food control plan provider Cleaning and maintaining the kitchen premises according to the restaurant stander. Addressing any complaints about food and Collaborate closely with other staff member Any other tasks delegated by director or head chef or duty manager to run day to day restaurant and bar operation Ensure quality food are served at all time. Maintaining standard of food presentation and hygiene. Need to work in any section of the restaurant if required.

Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a related field. Be prepared to work during weekends and evenings.
