An Ashburton Motel is seeking a dedicated and versatile Housekeeper to join our friendly team and enjoy a dynamic work environment. Assist clients to check in and check out, providing porter service and concierge if need. Receiving and processing hotel reservations through our Channel Management System and help boosting sales. Monitoring inventory and ordering supplies as needed. Supervise housekeeping team finish daily task on a quality and timely manner. Cleaning of rooms, including making beds, replacing linen, disinfecting surfaces, and vacuuming. Cleaning and tidying of public areas, including the lobby and public toilets. Re-stocking supplies, including linen and cleaning supplies. Other cleaning duties including cleaning of carpets, upholstered furniture, and polishing furniture.
Job Requirements
Taking a pro-active approach to cleaning of the property and taking pride in the appearance of the property. Working alongside our housekeeping team in day-to-day operations Providing quality coffee beverages consistently to guests in a timely manner. Previous experience as a hospitality worker and being an all-rounder is ideal. Attention to detail. Be confident working on their own. Be a good communicator. Barista Certificate would be an advantage. Multitasking skills and previous management experience will be beneficial. Must be able to work public holidays and weekends. This role has a Ministry of Justice check requirement. A pre-employment drug test is required.

- Tues & Wed - 8.00 to 10.00am & 2.30 to 6.30pm Thurs, Fri, Sat - 8.00 to 10.00am & 2.30 to 7.30pm (32 hours per week)
