Reliever Teacher

We are seeking qualified early childhood or primary trained teachers who are looking for flexible and casual work opportunities in North Canterbury.

We are currently seeking casual teachers to join our reliever pool and work across multiple early childhood centres. As a reliever, you will on an as needed basis to cover staff absences and provide high quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years old.

As a childcare worker, your main responsibilities will be supervising children, assisting with daily activities, and ensuring their safety and wellbeing.

● The ideal candidate will have at least 3 months of experience working with children under 10 years old within the last 5 years ● Exceptional levels of initiative ● Flexibility with a friendly, confident and ‘can do’ attitude ● Love teamwork ● Reliable transport or knowledge of the public transport system (for the ability to travel for temporary roles) ● Have a clear police vet

Qualifications: NZQA Level 7 or equivalent qualification in ECE or Primary NZ Teachers registration (Provisional or Full)

-Minimum Restricted License, with own transport -Flexibility with hours and days -At least 3 months experience. -Pass all pre-employment checks required -Great communication and attitude
