Lawn Mower and Weed-Eater Operator - Omapere

As a Lawn Mower and Weed-Eater Operator, you will be responsible for mowing lawns, trimming edges, and general lawn maintenance using a variety of equipment, including ride-on mowers, push mowers, weed-eaters and leaf blowers. You may work both independently and as part of a crew to deliver exceptional lawn care services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities: - Operate a variety of equipment to maintain lawns. - Safely and efficiently trim edges and areas around obstacles (trees, fences, pathways, etc.). - Conduct routine equipment inspections and maintenance to ensure everything is in working order before and after each job. - Ensure lawns are mowed to a high standard, including proper grass height and uniformity. - Clean up clippings, leaves, and other debris from job sites. - Follow all safety protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE). - Communicate with the team to coordinate tasks and ensure timely completion of jobs. - Load and unload equipment from trailers and secure it properly for transport. - Provide excellent customer service, maintaining a positive attitude and representing the business professionally.

1- Fit and healthy enough for the tasks described - lifting, bending, and operating heavy equipment for extended periods. so no bad backs/ related conditions please. 2-Flexibility to work varying hours, including early mornings and occasional weekends. 3- have ZERO past convictions. 4- be drug-free in order to pass regular testing 5- be legally able to get to the workshop in Omapere, so minimum of a Restricted Driver Licence and own vehicle needed.

Previous lawn care or landscaping experience preferred but not required- Training will be provided.
