About this job
We are looking for Kitchen Assistant’s to join our restaurant team in Lake Tekapo. Previous kitchen work experience preferred. Tasks and responsibilities associated with the job as follows • Assisting the chef/cook with collecting ingredients and pots/ pans for the preparation. • Assisting with measuring ingredients. • General food preparation such as washing, cutting and peeling. • Cleaning work areas and equipment. • Clean benchtops, floors, ovens and range. • Dishwashing. • Receive, lift, handle and store food deliveries. • Throw trash out.
Job Requirements
Ability to work variable hours including weekends. Previous kitchen work experience preferred.

- Monday to Sunday rotating as a roster. (30 hours per week)
