Furniture Assembler, Carpenter

A New Plymouth based employer requires a furniture installer to join their friendly team. Previous joinery experience and using a battery drill would be beneficial but full training will be given. Customer care is important as well as great communication skills, enthusiasm, the ability to make decisions and a professional, mature attitude.
You will need a full, clean driver licence and be able to drive a manual, have an excellent work ethic, be able to think on your feet and be aware of Health & Safety practices. Some heavy lifting is involved so you need to be physically fit.
Responsibilities: • Assembling and installing furniture • Contacting customers • Maintaining company vehicles • Some administrative tasks
The position is casual to start with training and will be 30 hours plus weekly after Christmas. Hours will be Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 3pm (can be flexible).
