Pinetech is a forest data collection company. We walk around Plantation forestry measuring trees with tapes and electronic equipment. A forest technician collects data from trees in accordance to the forest owners Operating Specifications INFO FROM JOB DESCRIPTION: Work safely and efficiently as part of a team carrying out forest data collection. Ensure personal equipment and clothing is properly maintained. To work in accordance with the Forest Owners Prescription and the Health and Safety Plan. Participate in safety meetings and inspections, training, other work as directed. Authority to ask for help or advice at any time, or to stop work to inform Technician or Foreman whenever a hazardous situation is identified. Qualification/experience level: At least 15 years old and physically fit and be trained or under training for Unit Standard 17769 – General Requirements.
