Kitchen Assistant

Local Foxton employer is looking for a Kitchen Assistant for part-time work. Duties involved in the role include: supporting and working alongside the Kitchen Manager and the Team to prepare, cook and present quality meals, follow the instructions of the Chef, general cleaning tasks such as cleaning down food preparation surfaces, crockery, utensils and cooking appliances. In addition to this you will be operating the cash register, writing up meal requirements and operating the PA meal ready system. Any problems must be promptly reported to the Kitchen Manager. Work is Thursday, Friday and Saturday – from 2.30 until around 8.30pm. There may be additional hours available on long weekend Sundays and functions where required.
Job Requirements
Ideal candidate will be able to Cook homecooked meals while multitasking other functions of a Kitchen Assistant.
