Machine and Stationary Plant Operator

This hops production business based in Garston is looking for a fulltime machine operator to ensure the smooth and efficient processing of their hops.
Duties include (but are not limited too): • Operate and maintain the hop harvest machine. • Perform regular maintenance checks on machinery and stationary equipment • Follow Standard Operating Procedures and Quality Assurance standards to ensure hops are harvested, processed, and packaged correctly. • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any mechanical issues to minimize downtime. • Manage and document machine operations, including dispensing, blending, and tracking output for product traceability and compliance. • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Job Requirements
Ideal candidates will: • Experience would be an advantage (preferably in hop production or agricultural sector) • Have a strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. • Be physical ability to stand, bend, and lift heavy objects. • Ability to manage a small team effectively. • Strong focus on health and safety
Full Drivers licence, own transport, pre-employment drug test and police check required. Must also have contactable recent employment references.
