About this job
Do you have experience cooking Indian food? Have you used a tandoor oven to make naan bread? A local employer is seeking someone to work full-time, 32 hours a week as a Fast Food Cook. Duties will include checking food to ensure quality regulating temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment, preparing and cooking food including seasoning during cooking portioning food, placing it on plates, adding gravies, sauces and garnishes storing food in temperature controlled facilities. You will also be preparing food to meet special dietary requirements. Other duties could also include menu planning, estimating food requirements and training other kitchen staff when required. Job Requirements
Must have experience cooking Indian Food including using a tandoor oven. Must be able to pass a police check.
- Days of work
- Split shifts Monday to Saturday 11am - 2.30pm and 4.30pm-9.30pm except Thursday which is 11am-9.30pm and Sunday 4pm-9pm. (32 hours per week)
