Front of House/Baker's Assistant

A small artisan local bread bakery located in heart of Invercargill is looking for a front of house staff member, and in between serving customers, taking on the role of assistant baker.
Are you a people person? Are you passionate about feeding others, enjoy getting creative in the kitchen, and are fascinated by the magic of creating flour goodies?
The role has a bit of flexibility, around 5-10 hours for a start, although there's the opportunity for more hours for the right person, with the skills to add to the growth and vision of the bakery.
About you: - Good with people - people are the heart of this bakery, and you will be the face out the front serving the community - Organised, motivated, and be excellent at time management, with the ability to prioritize and manage your time well, enjoying the challenge of working in a fast paced environment and well under pressure - Creative, and think out of the box, with a can-do attitude - Honest and have integrity - Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and police checks if requested
Pay rate and days/hours of work will be discussed at interview stage.

Job Requirements
Working in a bakery is a busy and fast paced environment, so you will have - Experience in a commercial kitchen - A sharp eye and attentive to detail - Good physical fitness, as you will be on your feet most of the day and lifting - Good health and safety practices
Must hold New Zealand citizenship/New Zealand Permanent Residency
