Butcher's Assistant

A business located 8 kilometres from the centre of Palmerston North has a vacancy for a Butchery Assistant to answer phones, take orders, pack meat, and maybe break down beef carcasses, and undertake deliveries and other duties as required
Job Requirements
You will need to have experience in the meat industry, have knowledge of the various cuts of meat, be physically fit, have a good phone manner and work well in a small team. Experience in breaking down beef carcasses and knife skills is an advantage. A minimum of a Restricted Driver licence and transport to get to and from work is required. May need to pass a security check and drug test.

- Monday to Friday - approximately 4am- 12pm (30 hours per week)
