A Blenheim employer has a great opportunity where they are seeking a friendly Receptionist and Administration Support person to join their team. This is a full time role of 35.5 hours per week Monday to Friday. This employer is seeking an efficient reception based administrator to provide administrative support whilst ensuring clients and visitors receive a positive first impression of the organization. In this varied role you will take on general reception and administration duties, such as answering the phone, greeting clients, booking appointments, filing and data entry for MOJ reporting requirements. The Ideal candidate will demonstrate the following: be highly organized, punctual, have excellent administration, customer service and communication skills both written and verbal, have strong people skills with a friendly phone manner, have excellent attention to detail and be confident with Microsoft software including Word, Outlook, Publisher, Excel and data entry.

Job Requirements

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and be well presented. Awareness of te reo Maori and tikanga Maori and understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi Sensitivity to cultures and languages of ethnic groups in our community and the ability to work in a way which is appropriate to the needs of these groups Awareness of external stakeholders, judiciary, legal community agencies and community organisations. Self management Ability to work without close supervision A high level of initiative and motivation
