Meat Process Worker/Stockyards/Cool Store Operators
About this job
We are seeking full time Meat Process Workers, Team members stockyards and Cool store operators for our Ngauranga processing plant .
Ideally you will have previous experience in meat works or have knife hand skills. Training can be provided for the right person with the opportunity to gain a formal qualification. You must be able to work day and night shifts as well as Saturdays when required.

Previous experience is preferred but not a requirement as most training is provided on the job. If you are known to be a hard worker and fast learner then we are prepared to train you and show you the way around the industry.

Job Requirements
Be eligible to work in New Zealand. (Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa) Reliable - turn up to work for scheduled shifts. Physically fit and all work gear and safety gear is provided. Must have strong communication skills and must be contactable by phone. Have a strong work ethic and a positive attitude. Must have an up to date CV at the time of application. Must be able to provide a valid ID. Must be able to pass a drug test, alcohol and MINOR convictions are considered on a case by case basis (Minor Traffic charges) Other than this you must be able to pass a MOJ check. Must have your own reliable transport if you are based in Wellington CBD. There is free transport options only for the Hutt Valley & Porirua East region.
Must be able to attend the seminar on the TUESDAY 29 October 2024 - 10.30am at the Naenae service centre, from here we will assist you with the online application.
