Full time Dental Assistant for New Lynn, Glen Eden, Kelston, Edmonton, Te Atatu and Titirangi areas . ARDS is the largest Community Oral Health Service, providing free dental care to children from birth through to year 8, in community clinics. The role is suitable for school leavers and those looking to return to workforce. We provide full training towards the role, so prior experience in dental services is not a necessity. All we ask is that you have a passion for: Working in health and working with children Making a difference in your community Working in a high functioning team with motivated individuals Learning new skills and challenging yourself The purpose of the Dental Assistant role is to: Support and assist dental therapists to provide an efficient customer focused service to clients Provide administrative support as required You will support and assist dental therapists to provide an efficient customer focused service to clients. There is an expectation that in this role you will drive a large van between sites. You will also need to be able to work during the school holiday periods.
