Full Stack Developer

Having already completed within the Data and Infrastructure spaces, we are now in the midst of a new transformative journey, modernizing desktop applications to be delivered via the web across the company, including those on mobile platforms. Reporting to the Business Application Manager, your day-to-day activities will involve developing and maintaining our critical, high performing and highly available applications using industry-standard frameworks and technologies. You will collaborate with our users and other technical staff in conceptualising and developing on top of our array of custom .NET and Angular / JS Applications. You must have the right to work in New Zealand and be based here, as well as pass pre-employment checks

• Extensive technical knowledge of software design patterns and their strategic application. • Advanced proficiency in C#, .NET, JavaScript (Vanilla/Angular/Typescript), SQL, relational databases and cloud platforms/resource management in Azure. • Proven experience in development platforms and containerised applications e.g. Kubernetes & Docker • Exceptional communication skills, enabling you to articulate complex problems and solutions simply and succinctly to subject matter experts. • “BAU” experience with agile product delivery methodologies and use of JIRA for projects. • “BAU” with unit testing frameworks, version control systems, and CI/CD platforms Must be able to pass a MoJ check and drug test and hold a minimum of a Restricted driver licence.
