Security Guards

Reputable Security company has partnered with a Recruitment Agency to find Casual Security Officers to work throughout the Auckland region. If you perform well under a casual contract, the company may consider you for a full time contract.

Please note that these are CASUAL opportunities, therefore hours per week will vary. However if you perform well under a casual contract, the company may consider you for a full time contract.

Key Responsibilities but not limited to:

- Provide excellent customer service to staff, visitors, and clients, ensuring their safety and addressing any security-related concerns.

- Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a secure environment.

- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent unauthorised access, theft, vandalism, and other security breaches.

- Conduct regular inspections of premises and report any irregularities or hazards.

- Respond promptly to security alarms and incidents, providing assistance as needed.

- Maintain accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations.

- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.

Please note that if you are shortlisted as a preferred candidate, you will be contacted by a Work Broker to who will conduct a pre-screening interview with you. If you pass the pre-screening, you will be invited to attend a first step job interview with the recruitment agency which will be held in Mangere, Auckland.

- No experience needed, however the applicant will need to have great communication and customer service skills as the roles are very customer service focused.

- Current Certificate of Approval security license.

- Pass a MOJ/ Police background check.

- Pass a pre-employment drug test.

- Excellent listening skills and ability to think, problem solve, and make decisions quickly in challenging environments.

- Ability to handle stress and pressure.

- Be physically fit and healthy.

- Confident/firm and has clear communication skills.

- Must be flexible with working rostered shifts Monday to Sunday 24/7- Shifts may vary across the week day, evening or night.

- Own or very reliable transport to be able to get to and from work throughout the Auckland region. Please note shift times can start early and finish late outside of public transport timetables.

- Able to attend first step job interview with the recruitment agency which will be held in Mangere, Auckland should you pass the pre-screening stage.

- Available to start work from 31/10/24 if successful with application.
