An Auckland based company is seeking 2 x Fulltime Class 5 Linehaul Drivers.
The Linehaul run starts from Taupo and requires the successful persons to work in all locations in New Zealand including Auckland, Bay of Plenty, Canterbury, Gisborne, Hawkes Bay, Manawatu-Whanganui, Marlborough, Wellington, Nelson, Northland, Otago, Southland, Taranaki, Tasman, Waikato, Westcoast.
You must hold the following: - Current Full clean Class 5 Driver License - Dangerous Goods endorsement - Forklift License - Able to work Monday - Sunday on rostered shifts - The role has a minimum of 35 hours weekly - but you are likely to be working up to 60 hours a week.
The role involves: - Supervise and complete loading and unloading along with load security. - Must be able to assist in other Truck and Transport related tasks when not driving. - You should be able to carry out routine checks and regular maintenance of your truck. - You must report damages and incidents immediately with necessary records & proofs. - Must be able work extended hours during busy season (Sep-Dec). - Able to pass a quick driving trial with the company Transport Manager.
