Service Workers – Laundry & Cleaning

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of the elderly? Our Tawa-based rest home is seeking 2x Part-Time Service Workers to join their compassionate team. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a supportive community that cares for its residents.

As a Service Worker, you will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents. You will work closely with the care team to ensure that the residents' needs are met, contributing to their well-being and quality of life.

Duties Include:

Laundry Services: Ensuring clean linens and personal clothing are ready and available for residents. Shifts: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM / 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Cleaning Services: Maintaining a hygienic and welcoming environment throughout the home. Shifts: 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM / 2:30 PM – 7:30 PM

What We Are Looking For: • Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic are essential. • A passion for helping people, particularly the elderly. • A strong sense of responsibility and commitment to creating a positive environment. • The ability to work well as part of a team. • Flexibility to work weekends and a variety of shifts as needed. • Availability to start as soon as possible. • Previous experience in a similar role or working in a rest home • Must have a clean criminal background and be able to pass a Ministry of Justice check Previous experience in a similar environment is a bonus, but not required. What matters most is your reliability and dedication to providing excellent care and support to our residents.
